FNF VS Impostor V4: Explore 56 Songs and 11 Story Campaigns

A simple rhythm battle can become complicated when the opponent is an impostor. Friday Night Funkin’: VS Impostor V4 places Boyfriend opposite a cast of Among Us-inspired characters, with musical encounters spread across familiar locations, side stories, and bonus challenges.

This customized browser edition is based on V4 and features 56 songs in Freeplay. Every Freeplay track is available immediately, so players can explore the soundtrack without completing campaigns or buying song unlocks. The game also offers 11 campaign locations on its main Story Mode map.

An additional Triple Kill Hard chart expands the selection in this build, while the Tomongus campaign includes a SKELD label to help players recognize it.

Choose a campaign or build your own playlist

Story Mode gives the music a set order. Instead of selecting individual tracks, players enter a campaign and work through its battles. The campaign lengths vary: some offer a short encounter, while others contain several consecutive songs.

The main Story Mode map includes:

CampaignNumber of songs
Polus Problems3
Mira Mania4
Airship Atrocities5
Defeat / FinaleA progression-dependent encounter
Magmatic Monstrosity3
Deadly Delusion3
Humane Heartbeat3
Jorsawsee’s Jams4
Battling the Boyfriend4
Rousey Rival (SKELD)3
Loggo’s Halloween2

Defeat and Finale occupy the same campaign location. Story progression determines which encounter appears there; they are not two separate locations in the campaign count.

Freeplay offers a different way to approach the game. Players can select a single song, revisit an opponent, or practice a demanding chart without going through the preceding campaign tracks. All 56 selections are unlocked, including songs that originally had score, progression, or purchase requirements.

Finding the SKELD campaign

Players familiar with the Skeld name should look for Rousey Rival (SKELD) in Story Mode. Its week label reads Tomongus (SKELD), and its playlist contains Sussy Bussy, Rivals, and Chewmate.

The bracketed name helps connect the campaign to the label used in another build. These three songs are already part of this V4 version’s selection.

Taking on Triple Kill

Triple Kill is an extra song added to this particular browser build. It appears in the first Freeplay section alongside the Black Impostor selections and uses a Hard-difficulty chart containing 4,014 notes.

The adaptation includes the song’s instrumental and vocals, character graphics, character changes, and main background transitions. Some decorative effects, jump scares, and custom presentation from the source version are not included.

Because the track is unlocked immediately, players can attempt it whenever they choose. Its lengthy chart also gives experienced players another performance to practice beyond the campaign songs.

Playing the rhythm battles

Watch the moving notes and press the matching direction as each note reaches its target arrow. Hold the corresponding input for sustained notes. Misses reduce health and interrupt combos, while accurate timing keeps the performance going.

Story Mode provides a structured route through the opponents. Freeplay lets players choose their own order, with the entire V4 soundtrack selection and the added Triple Kill chart ready from the start.
