A Story Told Through Rhythm Battles

FNF VS OMORI: Funk Space is a story-focused Friday Night Funkin’ mod that mixes the characters and atmosphere of OMORI with FNF rhythm gameplay. Boyfriend and Girlfriend enter a strange world where each song moves the story forward.

You do not need to know the full OMORI story to play the mod. Players who already know the characters and locations will notice many extra details and references.

The main controls follow the familiar FNF setup. Notes travel toward the arrow markers and you press the matching keys at the correct moment. Missing notes lowers your health. Keeping a strong rhythm lets you survive until the song ends.

Five Main Songs

Funk Space includes five main musical battles.

The adventure begins with White Space, where Boyfriend meets OMORI in the empty white world. The song does more than provide a normal rhythm battle. Character expressions and events change as the music continues.

Behind You focuses on Sunny and Something. It uses a darker mood and builds tension as the song progresses.

Sweetheart brings a different personality to the mod with a battle centered around Sweetheart.

There is also Erect Space, which gives the White Space idea a tougher remix.

The final major track is Omori Boy, which continues the story with more animated scenes and visual changes.

More Than Standard FNF Arrows

Funk Space adds special mechanics during its songs. Some sections change the interface or ask you to react to something beyond a normal note pattern.

Animated cutscenes connect the battles. Characters change expressions, scenes shift, and small story moments happen during and between songs.

This makes the mod feel more like one connected adventure instead of five unrelated music stages.

Some parts can become unsettling, especially when the cheerful FNF style mixes with the darker side of OMORI. The mood can change quickly from calm to uncomfortable without leaving the rhythm format.

FNF VS OMORI: Funk Space gives players custom music, detailed character animation, new gameplay ideas, and a complete story-driven presentation. The rhythm controls remain easy to understand, but later songs demand better timing and more attention to what happens around the arrows.
