Enter a Much Darker Part of OMORI

FNF VS OMORI: BLACKSPACE BOSSRUSH is a large Friday Night Funkin’ mod that takes Boyfriend and Girlfriend deeper into the disturbing side of the OMORI world. It expands the earlier VS OMORI experience with new story weeks, fresh songs, animated scenes, unusual opponents, and gameplay ideas based on emotions.

After the earlier encounter with OMORI, Boyfriend and Girlfriend arrive somewhere completely different. They enter Black Space, a strange collection of unsettling locations connected by doors. Boyfriend needs to keep moving forward while facing new characters through rhythm battles.

The normal FNF rules still matter. Notes move toward the matching arrows and you press the correct keys at the right moment. Accurate hits protect your health. Too many mistakes can end the song.

BLACKSPACE BOSSRUSH does more than place one opponent after another on a normal stage. Parts of the mod allow Boyfriend to move through areas and enter different doors.

Each door can lead to another encounter. Characters such as Hellmari, Abbi, Something, and Stranger appear during the story.

The mod later moves toward Red Space, where the story becomes even more intense. Cutscenes connect the different sections and show what happens to Boyfriend and Girlfriend as they move deeper into the strange world.

This adventure-style structure helps the mod feel like one connected journey rather than a simple collection of songs.

Emotions Can Affect the Fight

The emotion system is one of the most important features.

Boyfriend and other characters can become Happy, Sad, Angry, or enter stronger versions of those feelings during certain songs. An emotion can change how the battle behaves and may affect the health system.

You need to watch more than the arrows because a change in mood can alter what is happening during the song.

The mod also uses visual effects, transformations, interruptions, and other surprises during several battles.

A Large Collection of Songs and Secrets

The main story includes tracks such as Headspace, Reverie, Guilty, Arisen, Abyssal, Ailurophobia, Affection, Atypical, and Alter.

There are extra songs outside the main route as well. Some appear through hidden codes or secret areas. These bonus battles feature additional characters and give players more content after finishing the central story.

BLACKSPACE BOSSRUSH offers far more than a basic OMORI character replacement. It combines rhythm gameplay with exploration, cutscenes, emotion mechanics, secrets, darker locations, and a longer connected story. Learning each song still requires strong timing, but paying attention to the strange events happening around Boyfriend becomes just as important.
